After graduating from Parsons School of Design in 1996, Frick Byers pursued square-format, color photographs with a focus on manmade landscapes. His work has been featured in shows including Max Mara’s “New Visions” and Vera List’s “Humans All,” as well as “Backyard” at the Sam Lee Gallery and “Los Angeles Currents” at the Darrel Couturier Gallery. His self-published book, Tennis Courts, is an archeological look at 43 different courts from across the United States. A New York native, he currently resides in Los Angeles.
